Main functionalities

Electronic labels

Imagine being able to create electronic labels for your wines in a matter of seconds, without worrying about technical complexities. Our web application makes it possible: it generates valid and scannable codes instantly, perfectly adapted for your labels.

The system takes care of all the legal burden. Without you having to do anything, it translates and automatically adapts the mandatory information—ingredients, allergens, nutritional data—to the specific requirements of each European Union country. Forget about linguistic barriers or changing regulations.

And the best part? You can update the information at any time, and the changes are immediately reflected in the QR code, without the need to modify the physical labels. Your communication with consumers will always be up to date, without any effort or additional costs.

A tool designed for wineries that want to simplify their digital presence, complying with all requirements while offering a transparent experience to consumers. All this, with the simplicity of a single click.

Regulation (EU) 2021/2117

The law establishes rules for the electronic labeling of wines in the EU, requiring essential information (such as ingredients, allergens, and nutritional values) to be included through a QR code. This regulation aims to promote transparency towards consumers, simplify procedures for producers, and harmonize the market. Wineries must comply by 8 December 2023 (for wines marketed from 2024 onwards).

Italian Legislative Decree 116/2020

The Italian Legislative Decree 116/2020 regulates digital labeling (QR or code) for products, including wine, with mandatory information on ingredients, allergens, sustainability, and traceability. It applies to products marketed in Italy, complementing the European regime. The QR code must link to data in Italian and ensure unrestricted accessibility. Deadline: mandatory from 2022.

Multilingual E-labels

Generate electronic tags with standard QR codes in the 24 official languages of the European Union. Simplify the marketing of your wine across the entire European market with an integrated solution that ensures compliance with the regulations of each country

Recycling

Our app guides you step by step to add the recycling information needed for your packaging.

You just have to select the materials it is made of (glass, plastic, cork, etc.), and we automatically generate the correct instructions for consumers, adapted to legal requirements.

No need to research regulations: the system shows you clear and visual options to choose from and ensures that the resulting QR code complies with all legal obligations on waste management. Easy, fast, and error-free.

What is a QR code and how does it work on our wines?
The QR code that appears on the labels of your wines is a digital link that allows consumers to quickly access detailed and updated information about the product. This system is designed to comply with European regulations (EU Regulation 2021/2117) and, if applicable, with the additional requirements of the Italian Decree 116/2020.
How does it work?
  • Scanning: The consumer opens their mobile camera or a QR code reading app and focuses on the label’s code.
  • Instant access: Upon scanning, a web page with all the mandatory and optional wine information will automatically open.
  • Content: The displayed information includes:
    • Nutritional values (energy value, carbohydrates, etc.).
    • Ingredients and allergens.
    • Origin and production data (grape variety, harvest year, etc.).
    • Environmental information (such as packaging recyclability, if applicable).
    • Translations into the 24 official EU languages.
Yes, our platform is specifically designed to ensure full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2021/2117, which establishes the labeling requirements for wines, including:
Mandatory information accessible via QR
  • Nutritional values (energy value in kJ/kcal, fats, carbohydrates, sugars, proteins, and salt*).
  • Ingredient list (prioritizing allergens such as sulfites, in bold or underlined).
  • Indication of origin (country or region of grape cultivation).
  • Alcoholic strength by volume (in % vol.).
  • Lot identification (for traceability).
*Mandatory for wines with more than 1.2% alcohol by volume (Art. 16 of the Regulation).
Adaptability to specific requirements
  • Automatic translations into the 24 official languages of the EU, with a system that detects the user’s location or device language.
  • Real-time updates: If regulations change (e.g., new sulfite limits), the information is modified without manual intervention by the company.
  • Accessibility: Content compatible with screen readers for visually impaired individuals (EU Directive 2019/882).
Decree 116/2020 (which transposes EU Directive 2018/851 on waste) requires additional information for wines marketed in Italy. Our platform integrates these requirements automatically:
Specific information for the Italian market
1- Environmental labeling
  • Recycling symbols (e.g. the “Tidyman” logo for correct disposal).
  • Packaging material (glass, type of cap, etc.) according to Italian regulations.
  • Waste management instructions (in Italian, such as “Verifica le regole del tuo Comune per il riciclo”).
2- Language and legality
  • The QR information is displayed primarily in Italian if a user in Italy is detected (optional: also in German for South Tyrol).
  • Inclusion of a unique identifier for Italian authorities (e.g. alphanumeric code registered with the Ministero della Transizione Ecologica).
Our platform is designed to automatically adapt to legal changes at no additional cost to clients. This ensures that your QR codes are always up to date with the latest requirements from the EU and Italy. Our team monitors regulatory changes (such as modifications to EU Regulation 2021/2117 or Italian Decree 116/2020).
At no additional cost
Updates are included in the service (there is no need to pay for reprinting labels or technical changes).
  • EU Regulation 2021/2117: Does not require offline access, as long as the information is easily and quickly accessible through a connected device.
  • Security and Updates: An online system allows us to:
    • Ensure that consumers always see the most updated version (avoiding errors from outdated data in offline mode).
    • Integrate dynamic translations (the 24 languages are loaded based on the user’s location).
Our platform offers 6 types of annual subscriptions, with different levels of capacity and prices adapted to the needs of each company. All payments are securely managed through Stripe, one of the most reliable systems worldwide.
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), Apple Pay, Google Pay.
  • Billing: We issue automatic invoices with each annual renewal.
  • Security: We comply with the PCI DSS standard for the protection of banking data.

Each annual subscription includes a maximum number of active e-labels that you can generate simultaneously. If you need more tags than your current plan allows, you can upgrade your subscription at any time without any losses:

How does the upgrade work?
  • If you reach the e-label limit, you can upgrade to a higher subscription in two clicks.
  • The system automatically recalculates the proportional cost (you will only pay the difference for the remaining months until the next annual renewal).

Electronic tags generated remain active as long as they are within the platform, with no fixed time limit. This flexibility allows you to manage space according to your needs:

No scheduled expiration:
  • E-label do not expire over time (1 year, 2 years, etc.)
  • They only stop working in two cases:
    • Manual deletion by you
    • Non-renewal of the subscription
When you delete an e-label:

It becomes immediately inaccessible. E-labels become invisible and inaccessible to users.
The platform temporarily retains the data of deleted e-labels.
After a prudent time, the information is permanently deleted from our servers.

We recommend that each QR code label remains active for a minimum of 10 years to ensure:
  • Legal compliance: European regulations require that the information be accessible throughout the product’s lifespan.
  • Consumer experience: Avoid errors when scanning deleted codes.
The price per QR code label is €0.60 (sixty cents), including 21% VAT. This cost is fixed and does not vary according to the volume of products:
No discrimination based on company size:
  • The same price per unit whether you order 1 or 30 labels annually.
  • No hidden costs or additional expenses for small productions.
There are no volume discounts, but we guarantee that small producers do not pay more per unit than large companies.
Fiscal transparency
  • The 21% VAT is already included in the price (€0.50 base + €0.10 VAT).
  • The invoice breaks down the amount for proper accounting management.
